Mariam Nantang

Mariam is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health (PMHNP) with over a decade of extensive experience in psychiatry. She earned her advanced degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she honed her expertise in mental healthcare services, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of psychiatric disorders.

Before pursuing advanced practice, Mariam began her career as a medical-surgical nurse, excelling in multiple disciplines, including cardiac care, telemetry, inpatient oncology, critical care, Urology, orthopaedic care, kidney transplant, and rehabilitation. Her diverse clinical background provided her with a well-rounded understanding of complex patient needs and prepared her to deliver holistic care.

Over the years, Mariam transitioned into psychiatry, where she has worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Her clinical experience spans a wide range of mental health conditions, allowing her to provide compassionate, evidence-based care to patients of all ages.
